Serenades From The Soloists

Houston Symphony Orchestra gives audiences the chance to appreciate a host of their magnificent musicians in a program of concertos and serenades from Brahms, Bach and Mozart! The works on show are Bach's Violin Concerto No. 1, Mozart's Serenade No. 12 a.k.a. Nachtmusik, and Brahms' Serenade No. 1, pieces written for smaller ensembles giving a range of fantastic performers an opportunity to shine.

Performers in the spotlight are violinist Yoonshin Song, oboists Jonathan Fischer and Colin Gatwood, clarinettists Mark Nuccio and Christian Schubert, bassoonists Rian Craypo and Elise Wagner and horn players William Vermeulen and Ian Mayton. A fantastic showing of the orchestra's talents!
