A classical ballet set amongst the jungles of India, La Bayadere is a lavish spectacular that recalls the great adventure epics of Hollywood's golden age. Originally choreographed by the legendary Marius Petipa to the music of Ludwig Minkus, this ballet tells the story of the love between the temple dancer Mikiya and the warrior Solor, and the priest who plots to take Solor for himself.
