Why See Neil Gaiman?
The Hugo, Nebula, Bram Stoker winning novelist
Far more than just a science fiction/fantasy novelist, Neil Gaiman's storytelling prowess has taken the world by storm, and it appears that he is far from finished. Having published over 20 novels including the hit best-seller American Gods (currently being adapted to television on Starz), Coraline, Neverwhere and Stardust, he is also celebrated for creating the graphic novel series Sandman, winning praise from the horror king himself, Stephen King. Now Neil heads out on tour in 2017 to discuss his past works as well as his upcoming projects, hitting Brown Theater in Houston, TX, July 8, 2017
Fall 2016 sees the release of new children's book The Sleeper and The Spindle, an exciting new re-imagining of the Sleeping Beauty and Snow White mythologies, whereas Spring 2017 sees the more adult Norse Mythology novel being released to coincide with the airing of American Gods, providing an indepth look at Odin, Thor and the concept of Ragnarok.
